Exposure Programs for Youth
The MacPhee Centre for Creative Learning is an organization running out of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. In the Spring of 2021 they created an outreach program aimed at supporting youth local to the Portapique community and surrounding areas. Since then, they have run several youth engagement camps (both through the summer and over March break) and provide access to creative arts during the school year through an open door creative arts night.
These programs are aimed at engaging youth from the ages of 10-16 and allowing them access to creative arts, while also including fun skill building and recreational activities when possible.
